YOKOBOK Artists' House

"We understand each other because we speak the same language. You're home wherever you set your bags down, where no one is lying in wait to catch you off guard..."

Yokobok Artists' House portrait

The Artists' House wants us to feel at home everywhere. Because we are Citizens of the Free World, and our Art knows no borders...

Why YOKOBOK?

YOKOBOK literally means: "We share it" and/or "it's for us"! The meaning comes from an ancestral dialect, Wolof, spoken mainly in West Africa and more specifically in Senegal.
