Sophie Attelann
Sophie Attelann is a complete artist, having moved through dance, acting, writing and directing before founding Yelloweyes Films. Her signature: giving shape to ambitious worlds and carrying them all the way to the screen. She has around fifteen short films, web series and music videos to her name, including several directed for Ab Del Castro (La Balle Perdue, La Robe Noire, À Quoi Ils Pensent, Juste une Femme).
In 2021, she directed her first feature film, Hikikomori (with Coline Chantrel), released in theaters and distributed on Amazon Prime Video in the UK and across Europe, selected for the 5th Prix Alice Guy. In 2023, she joined the CREATIS incubator, and in 2025 she co-wrote the series Fractures, supported by the Région Guadeloupe and the CNC, presented at the Séries Mania festival.
She founded Alliées, a professional network for women in film and audiovisual production, and is developing Vertical Clap, an app designed for creating vertical fiction. Her writing explores stories of transformation carried by characters on the margins (queer, autistic, isolated people) confronting the systems that constrain them, moving between psychological thriller, science fiction and social drama.
